cool stuff. I have a Comanche buddy who told me that 120 to 150 grit was as smooth as a traditional item could have been made back in the day. Yours are looking good.

I've seen stuff in the museum glass smooth before, so I know it's possible given time and a good grindstone. Question is would they, and I can't answer that definitively.

I have handled museum collection celts and the business ends were really smooth. Some of that is due to effort up front but some of it is from use.
