Don ,yes I have shot them and they are quite snappy, I'm not very good with the 33" right now but I'm sneekin up on it.

Howard, that pignut ya give me is some of the toughest bow wood I ever had.

A while back at a  have a go day I shot my whistling arrows (made from Pecan shells) from a real short little Osage bow. One of the guys who shoots modern target recurves couldn't believe the power in it. All the kids loved those screaming arrows too
I was trying to show 'em you didn't meed f/glass and all the modern junk (I think I made the point )

We just revived that thread a few days ago.  I think the rules settled on were 40" or less with a draw weight of 45 lbs at at least half the bow length.
 I'll bump the thread or add this thread to it.

Well when half eye calls them "REAL short.."  he ain't kiddin' around.  Those are some seriously cool little bows. Fine job as always.

What at the dimensions on that hickory? I alwayse thought hickory had to be wide, but that looks fairly narrow. Also does it have much handshock?
