Knotty standing-dead character 45#@28"

Weird stick this one. Lots of reflex, four knots, dark ring backs, propeller twist, lateral twist... All she's missing is some deflex in the handle.

She's for my boss who offered me a new/more fun part-time job in his workshop building barns when he saw my work. I've been putting in full-time hours as he gives me plenty to keep me busy, same routine as the last job but more fun, so he thought this would take a little longer to finish ;)

Sinew wrapped the big knot because a little crack turned into a medium crack the first tie I pent her for floor tiller, everything else flew by surprisingly quickly and she only took half an inch of set. Just need to clean her up, seal, and dress her in leather ;D

Looks cool.  Nice job on that weird stick!
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Thanks guys :D

First coat of tru-oul is dry, got some masking tape to figure out the leather for the handle. Wrapped a rag around her to shoot a little, ruined the plywood behind my carpet target ::) Boss should be happy. I'll post finished pics.
