I took her out and put a dozen arrow through her. She shoots right where I'm looking but she is a little shocky. I'll reduce the tips some more and see if that helps. I still have to drop her weight a bit more too.

Gidday pat, new member here I'm building my first lam board bow so have watching this one keenly. Mine is a little shocky also.

Welcome to PA Shamus. Try to get the tips as narrow as you can. Removing the excess physical weight will help reduce the shock.
  Please post pics of your bow. Either start a new thread or post it right here.

Ok pat will do, I'm a bit nervous to make the tips as some of you guys on here do.

If the tips are 1/2" thick you can narrow them to 3/8" or less. Try narrowing them a little at a time and test to be sure they aren't bending.
