Dave C, The camera is an entry level Canon SLR, an xti I believe. Most photos were taken with the cheap kit lens that it came with, but the close-ups were taken with a sweet 100mm canon macro lens. I justified the purchase of it when I was working for the Forest Service catching bats. Lots of bat photo opportunities and not a lot of good bat photos out there.
