Once I can make it home again I have some hides that I need to get tanned that I'm wanting to make a hat from. I'm looking for some suggestions on what style I should go with. My plan is to use almost entirely muskrat. I had 12 of them to work with till one of our cats got a hold of a couple of them and decided to make furry confetti from a couple of them. I didn't have time to see exactly what the damage was since I was about to head to school. But I should have about 9 or 10 of them to work with, I have a beaver and a couple of raccoon that I can work with. Any body have any suggestions for what to go with? Right now I'm thinking either bomber or like a stocking cap with large ear flaps. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get home to get them but it should be in the next couple of weeks, so i've got plenty of planning time.
