That's a nice bow all around. I never touched no osage but I bet it could even be drawn two or three inches further, it still looks totally at ease in the full draw.

If you'd like the pink cord to be red, it might turn red when you oil or wax it. Often with textiles and leather you need pink stuff if you want it to look red after being soaked with glue or finish.
Don't shoot!

Morning has dawned here in Texas and I've been able to take another look at the lace in the daylight.  It's not pink (not that there would be anything wrong with that).  I'm calling the color more of a "Wild Rose".  The bow is going to a friend who has not seen it.  His wife has though and she said she thought it was adorable!

Pink/red, it doesn't matter to me.  That is a fine bow.  Great job on it Slimbob.

Yeah thats was a nice save on it.I've got a couple sitting in the corner that I will revisit eventually. Really good job on that bow.

I'm glad you confirmed the color as wild rose cuz I got me a pair of wild rose colored undies that I'm sort of fond of and I was begining to think they were pink. Thats a big weight off my shoulders. Course I suppose thats what can happen when you mix colors and white in the laundry, lol.  Danny
