Rock Trade, and Points
« on: December 12, 2013, 05:50:42 pm »
Thought I would go ahead and start a thread where we can show off what we received and what we make. Today the postman brought this Box of rocks( from Stringman) to my door. Looks awesome and I know what I'll be doing this weekend. Thanks Scott, I'll be posting some points Monday, all goes well.

I believe Scott told me it is a Burlington. Could not wait for the weekend so took a break from work today, grabed an odd shaped piece and wored this out. very challenging to say the least. Also can anyone photo shop the corner back on this for me ??? ::) :-[

Nice try Dave, looks like you have plenty to go for a set :).

Got my rocks today David.........thank you sir. Obsidian, keokuk, John's valley and a piece of Patricks or cowboys rock maybe. That John's valley will certainly challenge me, should I try to cook it?

Terry, you're rocks are going out Monday, I appologize for the delay. Had some issues that kept me from the post office but I think you will be pleased.

Tower, this was a great idea and I think we should do this again.

Knapperhead, some of those spalls have already been heat treated, and to no avail I should say. It is what it is , and it is tough rock!!!!! But still good stuff.
