I want to report on the bowmo coptcat bow fps but want to make sure the test is conducted correctly. Not being a regular at this what do you guys suggest. I thought maybe tape on the arrow to mark the draw?

You could mark the arrow and have someone watch to make sure it is drawn to the mark, but also it's important to record arrow weight and fletch style. Many testers use 10 grains per pound as a standard. I.e. a 50 lb bow shooting a 500 grain arrow

Also note the sting type and amount of strands you are using. Hard for you to judge your own release style unless you have actually shot against a shooting machine as a reference point.
