New Hophornbeam bow

Sweet bow Mullet.  I am a big fan of those slightly flipped tips.  Those skins look great on it.

Nice Eddie...we have some large hhb here in pa too...lots of 12-18" n a few I've seen over 2 feet in diameter...old trees cus the stuff grows real slow...

Chris; HHB is the only white wood besides Vine Maple I don't cook ribs with.

Carson, Clint, those are the first Copperhead skins I've ever gotten my hands on. I wanted at least one bow with them.

You did a great job with the HHB Eddie.  Nice looking bow.

I cut a HHB about 15 years ago that was almost 12" in diameter, practically no twist to speak of and had no branches for nearly 12'.  Best HHB I ever cut but boy did I sweat getting it out of the bush.  I carried a 6' long log on my shoulder about 50 yards, twice.  Don't think I could do that now.

Eric, it's not one of my faster bows, but it works.

I do like copperhead skins and I finally have a bow with some on it. Thanks for the compliments.
