The tips look a little stiff you might try to get those bending more. If your going to do a job do it right....next time lets see some tip overlays, LOL.   

You could also try to skin some inchworms for backing. They also have great sinew if you want to try and increase the draw weight a couple ounces.

In the four years I have worked with birds of prey and all the wild hawks/owls/eagles that I have had to capture, the worst...and I mean it was baaaad...worst bite ever was from a freaking peach faced lovebird!  Vicous, ravenous, mean-spirited, rage-filled little blighters, they are!

Heck, I caught up an injured golden eagle with bare hands and a kitchen towel and came away unscathed.  Peach faced love bird.  Don't let Stoker mess with you like that.  Go catch a black mamba in the dark with your hands tied behind your back, but avoid the peachies!
