at work we have ash, crepe myrtle, plumb, oaks and sweet gum, but i cant touch any of them and its driving me crazy. they are however up for pruning sometime in the near future, i hope to get some of it when they do. i gotta buddy up to the landscapers

Try just talking to em, promise the foreman a bow ,,tell him what ya want,,you will get it ,, if he isnt rushing to finish the job and forgets..lol you make enouh bows im sure ya got a recurve just layin around your house somewhere.
