Try rubbing the stain line with 0000 steel wool. It will fade and blend it wonderfully.

I've heard that if you hold a 9 volt battery up to the steel wool while you polish your bow it will give it a deep satin sheen. ;)  Your bow looks great!

My experience has been that if you don't use something (like poly) that has some UV protection qualities, ur entire bow will soon have the same color as ur tips. Otherwise, looking good!

im using helmsman spar urathane which is a uv blocker so im good on that part. thanks for the heads up though.

Ooooh, thanks for the hot tip, Cody!  (I carry a 9 volt and some steel wool in seperate plastic bags in my bug-out bag)
