I cant seem to find the link now, but Gordon made a beautiful wavy yew bow from a stave Keenan gifted him that one really got me.

That's one of my favorites as well. I just happened to have it bookmarked: http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,23732.0.html

Another favorite bowyer of mine was oneeye (AKA Scott, whom I haven't seen around here forever.  I wish he would pay us a visit sometime).  Here are a few of his bows, they're real eye candy! His finish work is ridiculous.

That's exactly why I wanted to start this thread.. to dredge up some of our old favorites.

Glad you had that handy Cameroo. That is my favorite Gordon bow.

Thanks for sharing oneeyes bows. Those are amazing, and new to this newbies' eyes.

David Brunetta aka Atenurb always made some of the most artistic bows I have ever seen, and an amazing craftsman all around....run a search for him too...even tho this one "bit" him back it still was amazing nonetheless

Heck yeah,

This thread is just what I wanted. I love looking at these beauties.  Its so easy to forget how much amazing work has been done and contributed to our collective learning (and drooling).

I've always really admired Keenan's stuff as well:

The Sryinga Character bow was awesome:
http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,5969.0.html

but I always loved his unbacked juniper (bucking the juniper trend)
http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,12163.0.html

And of course the R/D Yew inspired several of my bows
http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,17111.0.html

Keenans tips and handle work really stand out.

Cool Thread...

Soo many Bows and Bowyers that I like to watch...

Here's a bow from Sticks-N-Strings that is on my mind.
Complgusty turned my thinking around on Water Moccasins.

Yeah Druid's bows have always amazed me, especially this one,  since it was only an experiment  :o http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,29098.msg385180.html#msg385180
