There are a few styles of Clovis points..and other fluted points that tapers in at the base..the Clovis point found at the Lamb site and others in NY tend to be narrower at the base..one thing else to remember the paleo people who made fluted points made them different to hunt certain animals..we tend to think "Clovis" along with other points all need to look like one picture or style...here's some other fluted points to look up..Delbert, Holcombe,Cumberland, crowfield...crowfield is one of my favorite s!
