DIRETIONS:
 
From 22/322 Eastbound or Westbound: Take the Port Royal Exit and go right. At the blinking red light go straight. From the blinking red light go approximately 2 mile through the town of Port Royal, and make a right at Taylor’s Garage onto route 333. Go approximately 1.2 mile and club drive will be on your right.

From Route 35: Go to the round about in Mifflintown and take the first right turn out of the round about. if you are heading westbound towards Shade Gap goto the red light in Mifflintown at the square and take a left, then when you come to the round about you must turn right and take the second right out of the round about. Go approximately 2 mile to the blinking red light. At the blinking red light turn right. From there go approximately 2 mile through the town of Port Royal, and make a right at Taylor’s Garage onto route 333. Go approximately 1.2 mile and club drive will be on your right.
 
From Route 75: You will need to make immediate left at Taylor’s Garage just before you reach the town of Port Royal. After making the left on to route 333, go approximately 1.2 mile and club drive will be on your right.
(If you come to the Port Royal river bridge you went too far.)

I was asked in an email about what other types of things are around to do for the non shooter and in the evening for the family if they don't want to sit around at camp all night, so here is a list.

 Midway Drive-in: They show two new release movies every Friday and Saturday night, cost is $6 adult and $3 children 11 and under.

 The Pennsylvania Canal and Canal house, a 1.5- mile towpath hiking trail between the canal park and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission [PFBC] access area, a restored lock keeper's house,a picnic area and signs interpreting the historical canal remains.

 Tuscarora Academy Museum: Open Sunday's June -July - August 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM

 Public swimming pool in Mifflin

 2 public access areas for small mouth bass fishing

 At a local campground you can rent kayaks or boats and also they have a mini golf course open to the public.

 The Juniata County Covered Bridge Tour: Info. available from the Juniata County Historical Society or at the Court House.

 Port Royal Speedway: Sat June 15 Fan Appreciation Night – 410 sprints, late models, 305 sprints. Starts at 7 pm Cost, A $10, S $5, P $25

Just wanted to remind everyone that we will have FREE water on all 3 courses usually at the half way point.

Also wanted to tell anyone that is coming to camp if they are interested on Saturday mornings at the Juniata County Fair Grounds their will be a big flea market.

8 more days until the fun begins. If you are coming and have a kid, a new shooter or just yourself please remember that unless you are shooting the competition course for score everything else is a fun shoot. If you feel the shooting stakes are to far from the target move up and if you think they are to close and you can safely move back please feel free to do so.
