Finding vinemaple everywhere but my area...

So I've been doing several talks on a Catholic Youth Conference that will be happening in the summer. I've been all over Washington and parts of Oregon because of this. Would you have guessed that I've seen so much VM that I could cry? its crazy thinking that it's so close but also so far away. I really need to take a road trip and look for the stuff! I can hardly believe how much of the stuff there is! I collected some seeds that i plan on germinating and starting into saplings, maybe i can plant a few around on my friends property or mine, whatever works.

That stuff grows slow. I'm not sure exactly how slow but I wouldn't count on using any of that vine maple that you plant for yourself.

Ill second that. It's one of the slower growing trees. There's a ton already it's like a weed just ask a logger. Go cut you some😊
