Hopefully Scott has read all these nice comments, he deserves them all.

As soon as I opened the package I realized I got the better end of the deal. I sent Scott a note telling him I owed him one.

That knife is so cool, what a wonderful job.
New to all of this primitive stuff. Just taking it all in, and learning every time I come here.

Alright, I just seen this and I wanna say thanks!  Pretty sure i don't deserve it, but I appreciate all the kind words, nonetheless.

I gotta say I was literally crestfallen when I found out about Pearlie building that bow for me and then not sending it!! It was an interesting place to be knowing I couldn't rightfully ask for him to send it, but desperately wanting to own it. It was a couple days later that he sent me a text and we agreed on the trade. This knife was just recently completed and he picked it out of the line up. I'm glad he is pleased with it.

For my part I have been waiting for better weather to take some nice pics of this bow. To say I am pleased would not do credit to the level of enthusiasm I have while holding this bow. PD was telling me some I the history and following this bow has acquired in its short life and he was not exaggerating! I have only shot it a handful of times, but the way this bow flings an arrow makes my legs nearly tremble! This thing SCREAMS an arrow!!! It's a thrill to shoot, not shocky in the least, and at 60# it might well become my go to bow for the next couple years! Then when you unbraced it and hold it under the light the wood comes alive. Not a huge fan of hickory, but after seeing what a master can do with it, I'm starting to come around. The finish on this bow is VERY easy on the eye! It has a baby soft feel that I still haven't nailed down. (You're gonna have to tell me your process again, PD.)

I'm super satisfied with this trade, and honored to have been involved. Just another example of how incredible the guys are on this site. It will be coming with me to the classic for those of you who haven't seen it. But I ain't guaranteeing anybody will have a chance to shoot it!!  ;D

I know this is a little late, but better that, than never, right?

Finally got around to taking some decent pics and wanted to get this posted before any more time goes by.
