Adding wood to the belly of static limbs
« on: April 03, 2013, 05:11:21 pm »
I see this often and am wondering the best way to accomplish this.  Basically, where a layer of wood is adhered to the belly at the curved section of the recurved limbs, to make them static.  Is this additional piece just bent separately on the same form as the limb and then glued?

I think I found my answer in the "Osage Static Recurve Build-Along - FINISHED PICS!" thread.  It seems my hunch was correct.
