thank you I have truly been blessed,  it have been a lot of work,,i still have about 45 logs I haven't split yet,, I am getting to old for this,,

great day in the osage woods  managed to get out about 150 staves,,even though flat tire on atv broke handle in sledge, then saw tore up ,,   found one nice 6in dia perfect log but had to climb 8ft high to cut off,

found some very straight but large osage probably 30in at ground,,cant deciede to cut them or not

How often do you sharpen that saw? That stuff will dull em quick! You might have to sharpen twice on that one tree.

Do you have to spray this wood for bugs? If so, with what? Just love looking at such fine bow wood.

that osage is hard forsure,, I do sharpen a lot,,as long as its green it cuts fine,,only gets hard when dry,,sometimes I spray with borer spray I get from coop,,  most time I take bark off and seal,,i usually process so much osage at one time,i cant work all down to heartwood,,,,
