   CANADAN GESSE  Iguess I'm brakeing the law.
  Hows a hunted bird on the list or did I read it wrong.
  Man back in the 80's I use keep the buzzard roost clean. I used the for years before I sold a guy some arrows and he sent them back. Because of the buzzard feathers. Never crossed my mine at the time since they were pick ups. Not even sure if buzzards were on the list then. He said they were.
   But buzzard primies are +1 right up there with turkeys.

Same here crooketarrow......It's pretty rare to see a road killed turkey vulture but i did.Then someone told me they are protected.Good post Pat B.Wild turkeys work just fine for me.If I do it right I can get close to four dozen arrow shafts worth from one bird.

Hey crookedarrow, The way I read it is Canadas are exempt from the list as they are one of the species covered in the treaty with canada and Mexico that permits the hunting of certain migratory birds.
