This is a very nice bow for Corinna and especially since it is her first. Her knowledge of wood working is apparent and she has picked up on bow making and what I consider a difficuilt wood with problem areas and worked through them with amazement. My hat is off to you, Corinna! Well done!!!  8)
Thanks for posting Coprinna's bow Simon and thanks for helping another young bowyer into our addiction.  ;)

Corinna has quite an eye for artistic embelishment!  Love her work!

This bow is right up my street! Yes its a nice bow, most people on here make nice working durable bows; but this one has artistic embellishment and flair. Love it.

That is quite the accomplishment for a first bow.  That girl has some serious talent.  I love the carved knots.
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

when i'm working on things my ancestors worked, singing the songs my ancestors sang, dancing the same dances, speaking the same language, only then  I feel connected to the land, THIS land, where my ancestors walked for thousands of years...

thank you guys for your kind words!
(Corinna asked me to do that for her).

She mailed me some pics of her current work on some bracers, and yes, this is also her first try on leather work.
She has borrowed the tools from my friend Kare, who is now also involved with bowmaking ... the fire is burning!
Here are the pics from the young Led Zeppelin fan:
