Jon, how did you decide on the handle design, I know it's not new to your knives since the burl handled one ypo made me over two years ago has that same exact design, it's comfortable in the hand. I think a lot of people try to make artsy fartsy stuff that isn't necessarily functional. That's a great picture of a lot of work.

Thanks guys for the kind words.  I finished up another knife and sheath today.  It's one of my better one's.  It has a Cocobolo handle on it and it's pretty nice.

Brother Dan I'd be happy to show ya how to make one.  Any time ole friend!

Thanks VB, kind words from a guy who makes great looking knives!

I finally settled on a design I liked and made a plexiglass pattern and now all mine are the same shape.  Same deal on my sheaths.  I made a pattern and do them the same way.

Plexi is good for a idea for a pattern when you do damascas. Then you can see your grain through the pattern and make the blade flow better. I also use those fiberglass safety signs. They are about an eighth inch thick and real handy. Some factories have to update their old ones from time to time so they can usually be had for free if u know someone.
