Just finished up a few knives, one is a draw knife, tried it out on the weekend works quite well. The way I look at why bother with the scraper when I just invert the blade and scrape away. It works like a hot dam makes me happier than a pig "n' poop....

Did you work the drawknife to have a burr on the spine to scrape with?

I guess I should said, turn it at 90 degrees and use the cutting edge for scraping.
