Very cool. I'd never even heard of a yumi bow until today. That is definitely going on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing, this one is going on my favorites list.

 Guys , i made an experimental Hidatsa type bow out of PVC  (Apologies , not exactly Primitive)  and it works GREAT .... Shoots Nice and flat , no hand shock ...  Feels good in the hand ...
  We’re eyeing up some Ash in the yard for harvesting  (I live in a hardwood forest) ... Gonna’ make a wooden one this time ...  same way the Hidatsa made it ... 
 Although i had my doubts , no more .... these bows shoot really NICE !!! 

Ps,. the arrow shoots 4” below bow center...
