I tried growing it in pots on my porch with mixed success.  About the tallest it grew was 18".  I wanted to use it for bowstrings or as a backing material, but at my current rate of production, I'll have to live to be 126 to harvest enough.

Well there is hope then for my squirrel brain thought. Lol... I can't remember ever seeing the seed for sale in any of my seed catalogs. Is health food stores the only place to get it?

My local grocery store had them.  Bigpapa - if you're having trouble finding the seeds PM me your address and I'll mail you some.
