Some kind of Arkansas river snake is all I know,has a lot of yellow and been waiting several years for just the right project to use it on.It's just one snake not a pair. :)

I'm pretty sure that skin is a Brazos river snake. It's a heck of a bow, shoots great and holds a ton of reflex. Wish it was goin to me... >:D

 Thanks so much guys, this was my first trade / first bow I've made for anyone other than myself and I have enjoyed it greatly. I will definitely be doing this again!

My bow is all packaged up and headed to the post office in the morning. Pretty sure it's gonna be traveling northish... Sorry if that rules you out.  ;D

Had to catch up on this thread.  Been really busy in the bowshop.  There sure are some really nice bows being made here in the 2013 swap!  Gotta get back on my trade bow.

Got her all finished up!57" ntn ,55#@ 28" ,came in @ 15.8oz.am pleased at how it turned out.gonna send it south tomorrow.
