Part of the allure of primitive replication with the primitive archer here and the buckskinner clan is the diversity of areas to investigate. The series of books of buckskinning,of which there are eight edited by William H.Scurlock and the book Mystic Warriors of the Plains by Thomas E.Mails has a wealth of information for people.

I agree beadman.  I got the the first four "books of buckskinning" back in the '80s as a teen. My father-in-law gave me the big book of mystic warriors about a year ago.  Been a while since I looked @ the buckskinnin books, but the other is pretty good.  Hard to read in bed though, man that book is heavy.  :o dpg
