I recently got a large amount of red elm and have been debarking and splitting as I get time. I've got a few with the bark peeled and this on that I chased almost all the bark off to have that cool contrast in the limbs. I found this under all that stuff. I can't wait to see what it looks like finished. I shoot about 50 or 630 at 26. If you were making it what would do?

Since I am on a bendy handle kick, I would make a bendy handle bow
I've read the red elm works well for bend through the handle designs.

This is a good design for Elm. Should be an easy build for you.
