OK how about "What is it part three"

I had an original of this object years ago. A long hunter may have carried one. It contains a small quantity of this substance. I made this back in about 1975 or so. If you need more hints I can give them. It's only about 3 1/2 inchs long.

Sorry guys, went to bed early. Here is another photo. It carries something you can season with. You aught to get it now. The original had a cord from the screw cap to the tip. I put the extra hole in the cap.

You got it Hillbilly. The original was found,not by me, at a flea market in Penn. When I got it I did not know what it was either. It was made from a cow horn tip. A chemist friend at GE analyzed it and said the interior was saturated with salt crystals. Kinda neat huh.
