Oh my, that is a beautiful bow! Was the wood that dark when you made it or did you take the pics some time after? Also I really like the look of the longer fades. Reminds me of the old American longbows of the 30s and 40s. That bow is classic
thats a beautifull and well made bow, 80#.....you could hunt rhinos with that,,,,or pierce some serious armour....you must be stronger than me
now THAT is a beautiful bow....nice lines, you've sure got an eye for practical beauty.Steam bending of the bow at the handle is a puzzle to me ...If you wouldn't mind me askin...how'd ya do that?
Nice Bow!!! 80# though??! Phew! Betcha it's a pull gettin' that back! Shorter bows always feel heavier. Your tiller is super. Much handshock? Did you want that much draw weight for something specific? Moose, elk maybe?
