hey,
i've seen the prices for the single gemsbok horns.
just wondering if it's possible to get two bow quality strips from a single horn.

yes you can .Try to split the horn so that any straightening you do will be forward or backward ,not from side to side.
This little bow was made from one horn.

The horn for my Turkish bow project came from a single gemsbok horn. Try looking for them on Ebay. I got two decent horns for around $40, including shipping.
