Here is my contribution to the food thread.  Some BBQ deer and baked potatoes served on my finest paper ware.  I like simple recipes.  The BBQ sauce is ketchup and brown sugar.  I end up saving most of the deer for leftovers.  I pour some of the extra sauce over the potatoes, OK, I smother them in it.  It is sooooo good.  It's been about 9 months since I have had this dish. 

I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Here is my contribution  ..

   Dug me a big hole ,poured in a batch of Charcoal and got it going good and put my turkey and a Corn beef brisket in the hole ,put a piece of ten over the hole and about six inches of dirt .twelve and one half hours later..Presto..the best tasting turkey I ever eat and the brisket was great also...We do most of our meat this way..

Food tastes better when there is a time limit... and there's extra gravy, butter, or bbq sauce... heheh

Didn't take any pics but we fried a turkey had dressing greens rutabagas peas home made bread pie etc etc.....Ron
