Almost done chasing the ring on the first limb im having to go 6 rings in because of the burrowing grub things il post a pic of the florida keys of pin notts im working around hehe man there are a bunch in a line on the tip. So far so good, i bought my first moisture meter yeaterday the billets are at 11% :) it only sat for about 4 months in the house with the bark on hehe

Here are a few more pics of the pin notts this will prolly be the tip end of this bow since the other has two large notts

The pins stop at my finger :)
Hi is my only worry a side nott

A nice little recess also

What should i do? im thinking itl be better if  i leave it  there and keep it thick but it mite be the end of this limb since its close to the fade area  Its grain path goes atleast half way in to the center of the billet. Its almost a bullet hole

Sterling, I think I would remove the side knot as you seem to have enough width without it. I think the pin knots will be fine and just add some nice character. You may already have found the name for her! ;) Looking good Bro
