Like most tropical hardwoods you may find lemonwood difficult to bend with heat if it is possible at all. You may have to kerf the tips and glue a bend into it.

Thanks Eric.
Thanks Pat. Well live and learn. I should have ask before heating the lemonwood. It had a little set and I wanted to put just a slight recurve. its a bow I pickup at the flee market and one grandson loved it, so after removing the old backing and before applying the new backing, I thought, what the heck, heat it. Well..... one limb went great, so I switched limbs and had major problem,  :o not one but two cracks, side to side. while crack was open I shot super glue in and closed it up. Not sure if I should add extra backing and wrap with sinew or trash. :-[
