In the last 3 days I've had 2 friends at work come to me, each with an osage tree they'd like removed from their property. One of the trees is north of McKinney, the other is in Sachse. I told both guys I'd be happy to help them get the trees down, but I still have 2 years of osage in my yard that needs split. If there's anybody near here willing to help cut the trees you can take the wood home with you. I've seen a picture of one of the trees and it appears to have some straight sections but don't know if the grain is straight. If we cut the wood and it won't make bows I'll send wood from my pile home with you. There's no rush on the McKinney tree and the other is on property in the process of being purchased so it's 2-3 weeks out.
