That's a nice set. Nothing wrong with glass.

Well done on that glass!! I always struggle to keep glass points together, but you did great on that set!

they shure are 40's I found some old  ones that have really flat bottoms. I made around 60 preforms in the last two days. my hands are throbing....

I love glass.  It makes great points and it's cheap and you can find it anywhere.  And they work great for putting meat in the pot too!  Those are some great looking points!

Even when I can get stone, I think I will use glass for hunting points.  It's so plentiful, I just feel so bad if the bust them.

Nice points ! I read Billys article in primative archer. I should take some pics of the points I am making now. Getting better slowly. Notching is hardess part for me. Found some plate glass in woods.Best part is already flat.

I run out of stone pretty regularly, but there is always glass.  Most of my hunting points are made out of glass.  Nicely done!  Josh

what is the trick to rolling over the edges? I can nock the bottom out pretty good but when I take a rock and try to roll the edges over they are still to steep to flake a shard off.
