Just wondering
« on: August 18, 2012, 01:18:48 am »
Ive got a bow in the works that I would really hate to ruin, the string on it just barly bisects the handle probably less than a centimeter from the edge of the handle, this shouldn't cause any problems right?

Wood type?    Perhaps a little heat to persuade it into the alignment desired?

If your a righty and its too far to the left it can cause more string slap, too far to the right and it can make arrow spine a pain.
Heat at the handle and check alignment, just take it half inch past where u want it then let it cool. I end up having to do this on most of ny bows.

Flip it end for end and now its almost center shot. That makes a sweet shooting bow.

It's juniper I'll probably try and move it a little more towards the center,at the moment you can just hold it upside down if your a lefty :)
