it IS an addiction! its very fun and way better than something stupid like gaming that most of my friends are addicted to.

No kidding, Muffin!  At least you got shavings you can use for a campfire when you are done, maybe even a bow to shoot something to hang over that aforementioned campfire.  What do they have?  Thumb cramps and bad vision. 

Besides, chicks dig bows.  Or so I have heard, it's not working all that well for me. 
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

I learned and I learned before this forum got started so I didn't have it to ask questions. Y'all be glad you have PA. Yes, I've  broken them even after 23 years. I'm not perfect. I don't like golf anyway.  I also know of pro bowyers who've broken their share. BTW that phrase is designed to make beginners not feel so badly when they do they have a stave break. But I am glad you guys never had the misfortune of breaking a stave or a bow. Good for you. :) Jawge
