would like to know what kind of rock here in mich to use can you show  me a picture just starting to knapp

just learned yesterday ( and saw the rock) there is good rock somewhere in Escanaba and on Drummond Island.

Jasper in the UP (especially around Ishpiming), and banded chert in the North West from the old jypsum mines.
