« on: July 17, 2012, 06:44:36 pm »
I have been inactive for a long time, but i have been working on improving my techique and my skill, I took a look back and i hope that this is good enough. (the pics are crappy webcam pics, since i havent been able to get outside due to this intense heat.

full draw was hard to get with a mouse in one hand to get the pics taken, will get it later. until then, the specs im estimating to be Roughly 70lbs, at 29" (my scale broke, so... im going off of feel for now.

Throw out a few more of the vital statistics on this bow.  I'm kinda liking the curves on this shooter.  Nice work, even if the first few photos make you look like Russell Brand!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Roughly 70# @ 29 as stated in first post
the bow is 64" NtN
Limbs are 1 1/2 inches wide at the widest point, slowly tapering to about 5/8ths of an inch at tips. the tips do not have the typical overlays i put on them, though i should have with the string material i used. I used 12 strands of "Astroflight' with 4 strands of dacron for padding in the loops. the bow is a snappy shooter, and i now see what all the hype is about with these modern materials, they are extremely snappy, and i dont need to worry about them stretching out :P.

The bend in the tips was induced using dry heat over the course of 3 days. i don't know if there is any other information you would like me to add, if there is, let me know.
