Jesse, that's a sweet looking bow! Shortening it helped a bundle, and made for a cleaner arc on the outer limbs.. The owner of the archery shop should be displaying that bow where everyone can see it..Make sure it doesn't end up on the back of a rack out of site..

I known of compound shops to pull that kind of stunt. :o

Congratulations, you stuck with that bow and did it right!

Thanks mitchman
VB thanks I am making a set of 6 broadheads like this. I made this one a little more rounded than my first and I like it.
Rich Thanks again you helped a lot. Im not worried what he will do with this bow he is a good guy. He is a traditional shooter he just doesn't know it yet. ;)
I figured out a little trick before I shortened it Im sure its been done I just didnt know about it. I put my quick clamps over the tips to simulate a shorter bow so I could see what it did at different lengths before I cut it.

Hey thanks Pappy. I'll take that coming from a guy that can turn a snake into a bow.

Like others have said, that handle is sweet.  Great Bow.  I'm going to saw pictures of it and try and make one like it some day, when I get good enough.
