Boo backed hickory board bow

59.5" NTN, 65 @ 28". Arrow is rivercane with stone point. Top limb needs some more tillering. Still too stiff.  Tiller is off. That shot was from 20 yards. Going to have to fix a split in the boo right where the shelf meets the window.. of course. Thinking about a rawhide overlay from the fades inward. That may keep it from continuing up the limb.

Sweet! A shorty too, well anything under 60" is a shorty to me. How about a full draw pic. I'm not sure if it's the angle of the pics, but it almost looks like ya got the fades bending a bit much. That's one heck of nice stone point too!! Did you make that also? Keep up the nice work.

Yes, I made them both. I need to get some pics of it on the tiller tree or at full draw.

It looks like a nice bow.  I hesitate to comment much on your tiller without seeing an unbraced side view.  From what I can see it looks to me like the right limb might be too stiff everywhere but just off the fade.  If there's deflex/reflex there it could be fooling me though.  Still, it is a very nice bow.  Good work.

Yes your right limb is weak out of the fade. The left is going the same way but not as bad.
Dig the stone point - v.nice!

What the other said. :) As far as the split at the window, they will almost always do that if the bend into the cut out,you have to be sure that don't happen, where you violate the longitudinal grain when cutting in the shelf they will lift a splinter at best and blow at worst if they bend into that.I would rap it and then maybe rawhide, rawhide alone may not hold it down, lots of stress there.  :) Very nice point, looks deadly. :)
