classic debitage point

This is some stuff Shannon was working on that I picked up some of the waste from. I think its opalized coral or something like that. Purdy stuff, but very delicate. To all you guys that contributed to the debitage, thanks! I never would have had a chance to try out so much different material. Not to mention the opportunity to watch and learn how its done by folks who know what there doing. Thanks again, Josh

Good looking points Josh! Eddie gave me a few chunks of coral to try and it is some nice material to knap.

That was some good looking rock. I saw some spalls laying there and picked up a few pieces and inspected them but didn't find any big enough to make into anything. You must have gotten there first
. You made some beautiful points Josh. Oh yea, and by the way, it was good to meet you and I hope to see you next year.

Thanks for the kind words. Opalized phosphate, well I'm surprised that I had it that close. Thanks for clearing that up Mullet! Old Hippy, it was a pleasure to meet you too. I'm definitely hoping to do it again next year. Josh

Nice point Josh!! I tried a bit of that, but got nothing. Man, since the Classic, I've not been able to get on here as much, too much caveman stuff to take care of around here. Oooga Booga, dpg
