Sorry I didn't get August point done. I'm still interested in trying it. Nice looking point. If someone has a September point I'll try to make em both. Maybe hunt with one of em in October

I know that not a lot of people have been knapping, or at least not posting but how about a pine tree point?

heres the description

This is a medium corner notched point with an elliptical, flattened, or median ridge cross section.  The blade is most notable as an outward recurvate, but may be straight to slightly incurvate and is serrated.  The shoulders are horizontal to having a slightly upwards angle.  The stem is expanding.  The base may vary from convex to concave and is thinned with light to heavy hafting region grinding being present.  This point has a collateral to a random flaking pattern.

Edit - for November

Sounds good to me Don. I just don't know how to shrink my pictures so I can post one.

I email my pics to myself.  That allows me to adjust their size

Yeah… haha… I hope someday soon there will be enough interest to do another point of the month, but I guess there isn’t enough now.

If someone posted one I’d see if I could, but I’ve been really busy farming.

BJ, here are a few that I did a long time ago, I used to love to come to point of the month and try and replicate all the great knappers who came here and participated, This has been tried many times to reopen and I sure hope this time is successful. Bob
