So I'm bending some hickory, flipping the tips just a little. This is my first crack at it, so I'm wondering how long it should cool and sit before unclamping it? Thanks in advance for any info!!

Dave with dry heat I like to give wood at least over night to cool. With steam I give 2 to 3 days or more depending on the R/H of your area. This might be overkill but if I'm going to the effort I want to be sure it will hold.

Thanks Pat! I'll post pics of the bow when I'm done.
