What is it and where do i get my hands on some more
i believe it may have come from texas...it is the first time this frustrating skill was fun after the new wore off. Thanks for any help
 
 
I dont have the stuff i worked only got one bird point but it had brown speckles and i need more

Yeah !  Ain't it just the way.  I have picked up debitage found along the river that made some of the best material ever for points and have no idea of the source. (Maybe just a flood rock that one of the old ones found and knocked a flake off of)  ( Take what you get and hope to find more someday )   '  Frank

River rock. Lots of it in TX it can be anything from rootbeer to pedernales. You can pick up a truck load at numerous places in most rivers. Or go to the sand & gravel operations & ask for some Bull rock ( land scape stones). With a little heat it can really change.

Not anything cool but i got rock thin on purpose ...broke it once it got there...and xod so with only antler one day i hope to make a killer cross your fingers this is more of the mystery rock

That's what i was gonna say - looks like some pedernales. Have found fields full of it just a little south of San Antonio..
