Redneck water garden

Here in Houston it get hotter than fryin bacon in the summer, and our pups love water, only problem is, so do mosquitoes, so we got the pups a pool at the high side of the yard with a small hole in the bottom, that way the water drains out after a few hours. Water is on a timer so it runs for 10 min at 10 am, gives them a swim hole for the hottest part of the day.
I have more bamboo than I know what to do with, and an extra roll of duct tape....Waters the yard and the dogs...and I got the look from the wife but she laughed after...
Thanks yall!

Sweet! Looks like a skinny Tom Hanks should be muttering to himself nearby
I use my kidde pool for everything from a garden cold frame to a deer carcass cooler.

That's a great idea. My dog would love that.

Yes Sir...
It's a kiddy pool for my pups as well...
Now I got a new litter of Lab Puppies to add to the mix.
Gonna have to buy the $30 extra large kiddy pool this go round to handle the extra dogs...
