finding some success
« on: April 15, 2012, 01:43:26 pm »
I've been working on some Texas rock (which works superbly!) And a little burlington. The TX rock came from Tower and Im amazed at how well it works very easy to thin and makes super sharp points. The dove tail  is a piece of slab flint that wasnt heated and it still worked well.

The last pic is a stemmed point that I blew an ear off and had to redirect. Has nice color and ended up fairly thin.

Very impressive!! I like them.

Dang Scott! I don't remember seeing that much of your stuff and then you post all these beauties? Symmetry is right on, and look at those flake scars and notches! You've been holding out on us..lol..
