I make a flemish twist, with no use of a jig. It's pretty quick and easy. Never have tried to make an endless loop though, guess I should give one or two a go, just for the experience of it.

Osage,
Cool jig, but how do you serve the ends with the strings so close together?? I am refering to you FIRST end loop servings..

I have a 5" or so cut off from a bamboo arrow with grooves cut into each end that I put inbetween the two sides to do the first servings. It spaces the string out enough to easily serve it.

Flemish twist for me. Its kind of theraputic to play with it and end up with a good string. The colour combinations are fun too.

Its OK to make a mistake. Just try not to make the same one twice...........

Flemish for me too ... can make one across my knee, and the best thing is I can easily reinforce the nocking area with extra strands... That’s where most of my wear occurs ... plus the colors ..
